The quality of herbal crops varies from source to source and from year to year. Most of it will be sold and used so there will also be variability in the retail products. Those companies with properly drawn up specifications who also ensure conformity to the specification will offer the best products. Inferior materials are likely to be purchased by those companies who fail to set adequate standards or who do not check to ensure conformity.
