PROJECT STAGES

1 Proof of Concept

This stage requires the construction of a Repository skeleton with all the software functionality (90%) envisaged for the repository and sufficient data to demonstrate that it is powerful, easy to use, and genuinely innovative with performance significantly beyond existing commercially available solutions.

2 Commercial Viability

This stage will populate the database and refine the software.  It will produce saleable product and so include documentation and training material.  It will be limited by the capacity of the chosen platform.  The objective is that by the end of this stage the project will be self-funding.

3 Master Repository

This Stage will transfer to a larger platform capable of holding the entire Repository.  It will be used in this form for research and knowledge retrieval.  It will also be capable of producing and maintaining smaller sector databases of the type used in stage two. Licence income will be generated from the sector databases and from accessing the main repository.
